Cookie Notice
In short
Akadaa uses only the cookies it needs to sign you in, keep your account secure and remember your school. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts. Because every cookie is strictly necessary, we do not ask you to accept cookies, and you will not see a cookie banner.
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your permission first, make saying no as easy as saying yes, and let you change your mind at any time.

The Android app
If you tick "Remember my email or ID on this phone" when signing in on the Akadaa Android app, the email address, phone number or ID you signed in with is saved on that phone so it is filled in next time. Your password is never saved. Untick it on a phone other people use. Older versions of the app also saved your password for fingerprint sign-in; the app now deletes that copy the next time it opens.
Shared computers and phones
Signing out ends your session and removes offline page copies, the class lists kept for offline attendance, your recent pages and dashboard suggestions, and the school you picked from the device. Display settings such as light or dark mode stay. Attendance taken without internet that has not been sent yet also stays, so it is not lost: when you sign out yourself Akadaa warns you first, and it is sent once you sign in on that device again and open Attendance. On a shared device you can also clear this site's data in your browser settings when you finish.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block Akadaa's cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
