KEEP THIS BESIDE YOU

The steps, in writing.

Send one message to a whole role from Outreach: in the bell, by email for everyone with an address (Akadaa tells you who got it in-app only), and on the noticeboard. Message a few chosen people with Specific Users, edit a noticeboard post (nobody is notified twice) or unpublish an old one, and set your own quiet hours so non-urgent notices wait until morning.

  1. Choose the audience

Open Communication, Outreach. Select all users, a role or specific people and review the recipient count.

  2. Write and send the notice

Enter the title and message, choose whether to post it on the noticeboard and send. Email is available only for recipients with email addresses; check the delivery summary.

  3. Maintain noticeboard posts

Edit or unpublish the existing notice when needed. Editing a noticeboard entry does not send the original notification again.

  4. Set quiet hours

Open your notification preferences and save the hours and time zone for delaying non-urgent notifications.
