Most schools switch at the start of a term. Export your student and staff lists as Excel or CSV, and Akadaa brings them in. You don't have to type them again.

Step 1: your school's set-up, in one step.
When you sign up, the starter pack creates your academic year, terms, classes, subjects and grading. Change anything that doesn't match how your school runs.
Step 2: import students and staff.
Upload the spreadsheet from your old system. Akadaa matches its columns to the right fields, or reads a list you paste in. You check the preview before anything is saved.

Step 3: staff roles and parent logins.
Give each staff member only the access their job needs, then create a login for every parent, by email or by phone number with a printable slip.

Set up this term's fees and assign them to students. From then on, parents pay by bank transfer and upload the proof.

Our old system only prints. Can we still import?
Yes, if you can get the list into Excel, or copy it as text. Akadaa reads a pasted list too.
Can we bring past results and old fee records?
The imports are for students, staff, classes, subjects, courses and sponsors. Start this term's fees and results in Akadaa, and ask us on WhatsApp about older records.
Do we have to switch mid-term?
No. You can set up during the holiday and start with the new term. The free plan costs nothing while you set up.
