KEEP THIS BESIDE YOU
The steps, in writing.
A class teacher marks the register on a phone with All Present, then marks who is late or absent. When the network drops, Save becomes Save Offline and the register syncs by itself later. Students and parents then see the attendance on their phones.
Mark the class register
On the teacher’s phone, open Attendance and select the class, subject and date. Mark All Present, then change any late or absent pupils before saving.
Save an offline draft
Open the register while connected so its roster is available. If the connection drops, Save Offline keeps the draft on that device until it can sync.
Check the saved record
Reconnect and check that the draft syncs successfully. Students and parents can review their attendance records; school staff publish absence alerts separately.
