Reverse a payment recorded on the wrong student, with a reason that stays on record, and give a student a discount with a scholarship.

The steps, in writing.
Reverse a payment entered against the wrong student, with a reason that stays on the record; nothing is deleted. Then switch on Scholarships once, create a 50% scholarship and assign it to a student, and their fees are halved.
Reverse the mistaken payment
Find the payment recorded against the wrong student, choose Reverse and enter the reason. The original payment and reversal stay on record.
Enable scholarships
An authorised administrator switches on Scholarships in the school modules when discounts are needed.
Award the discount
Create the scholarship and assign it to the student, then check the revised fees. The tutorial demonstrates a fifty-percent scholarship.
