KEEP THIS BESIDE YOU
The steps, in writing.
Add a parent and link each of their children (leave Primary unticked unless they should replace the main contact), link a child who joins later with Can pick up, and see both children on the parent's phone. Import a list of parents by admission number: Akadaa reports any row whose admission number isn't in your school, so you fix it and import that row again.
Add and link the parent
Open Parents, add the parent’s details and link their children. Review the primary-contact setting. Keep Create login account selected when a login is required.
Link another child
Open an existing parent and link the additional student, checking the relationship and whether they can pick the child up.
Import a list
Use the parent import template and include the children’s admission numbers. Parents with email receive a setup link when selected; phone-only parents may still need a login.
Fix failed rows
Read the error, correct the affected row and import only that row again. Use the separate Create parent logins guide to create remaining accounts and sign-in slips.
